SARDA promotes sustainable agriculture and diversified livelihood opportunities to improve the income and resilience of rural communities. The organisation works primarily with small and marginal farmers, tribal communities, and women’s groups by introducing improved farming practices, climate-resilient agriculture, and integrated livelihood models.

Through initiatives such as watershed development, Farmer-Producer Organisations (FPOs), agroforestry, and horticulture promotion, SARDA supports farmers in enhancing productivity, restoring degraded lands, and strengthening rural economies from Last 2 Decades. The organisation also focuses on capacity building, training, and technology transfer to ensure the long-term sustainability of agricultural practices.
