SARDA’S Agro Tourism Centre (SATC)

SARDA is being committed for socio economic upliftment for marginalized people through promotion of NRM based livelihood activities. SARDA strongly believe that the sustainable growth in agriculture can be possible with the introduction of scientific approach and technology mixed with recognition of indigenous knowledge.
With an aim of promoting the adaptation of technology application in livelihood promotion SARDA has set up SARDA Agro Tourism Centre (SATC), as training cum demonstration site in the HARNALA village of Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh. The center is adjacent to Kanha National Park. The center provides the theoretical and practical knowledge regarding different NRM based activities. This center is being promoted with the exhibition of different practices of organic farming, vegetable cultivation (3 tier system), Hi tech Nursery, Vermi compost production, Dairy, Goatery, Fishery, Duckery, Soil and water Conservation, Lac Promotion, Bio gas Unit for cooking and lighting, Food Processing center etc. The center is having full residential facilities with refreshment facilities, training halls, cottages, mud houses, etc.

SARDA Training Center

 SARDA has its own well equipped Training Centre to carry out the trainings on different skills. The training centre is having the entire basic infrastructure along with the residential facilities. During the year, the centre supports in Execution of different training and exposure activities for different projects of our Organization and other organizations also. The Training Infrastructure includes Lac research centre demonstration sites, on field Training, Training research materials, etc. Different training subjects Covered here includes:
